This snapshot oil painting was one I commissioned for myself. I took the photo that inspired this painting in the backyard of our city home. It was a beautifully peaceful July morning and I was just waiting around for our son to be born. So this painting has a special meaning to me, as it captures a time that I remember so well with fond memories.
