We spent several days in Cedar Key, FL in February, 2010. The weather was a little chilly, but the sunshine was Plentiful!

This sleepy little fishy village is located on an island, so there are water views wherever you look. The palm tree in this painting was situated in the middle of the town's beach.

My goal with this painting was to help you see sunlight reflecting off the fronds of the Palm that was swaying in the gentle breeze. I also wanted to capture the intensity of the water, and the warmth of the sun.
