This oil painting called “door county view” is simply a snapshot in time.
My dad actually took the photo and asked if I would turn it into a painting for he and my mom. This is one of the few paintings I've ever done based on somebody else's photo.
But the composition was so great that I couldn't resist his offer to let me paint it!
