I took the photo that inspired this painting from a moving car, as we were driving to a wedding in Northern Indiana early one spring morning. Everything was just coming back to life, and the geometry of the crops just screamed to be painted.

This is the first piece I painted that I felt really good about, so it has lots of senitmental value to me. For this reason it hangs in our living room and is not for sale. Don't stare at it too long though, or your eyes will begin to play tricks on you!
