#2 in the series "From my Garden!"

I grew this Zinnia from a seed!

Since I have an insatiable desire for flowers, last winter I purchased a small green house so that I could learn how to grown my own annuals from seeds. This was my second year trying the seed propagation method, and it was much more successful than the first year was.

There is something extra-special about looking out over your yard, knowing that all the colorful blooms are from the little seed babies that you spent several months nursing to life.

I love Zinnias, so I'm happy to have actually captured one as a painting.
