This painting is the fifth in my series called "WATER." It was inspired by a photo I took while on vacation in Saugatuck, Michigan.

This beach we visited on the shores of Lake Michigan was just breathtaking. The sky and water were so vast, and the beach was completely empty.

The painting places you in the sand dunes, walking up a hill just before the view of the lake comes into full view. You smell salt, hear seagulls, and feel the wind in your hair. The perfect summer day.
