The fourth piece in my series of oil paintings called "WATER."

My goal with this piece was to let you feel the heat of the sun-soaked fishing dock which was located on the salt marshes of Edisto Island, SC.

I took the photo that inspired this painting in the early evening when the sun was starting to set. The tide was out at that time, and there were thousands of little crabs crawling under the dock.

The perspective of the dock leads your eyes off into the distance, causing you to stand at the end of the dock and drink in the peaceful view.
