"SCENES FROM INDIANA ROADS"

I love how Indiana looks in the summer. There are fields of deep rich green wherever you turn. In this series of small barns, I was trying to capture the beauty of the Midwest during my favorite time of the year.

In this clean and tidy farm, both the walls and roofs of the barns were stark white. To create the feeling of a sunny day, I added yellows to the areas where the sun was hitting the building, and purples where the building was in the shade.

These white barns were so peaceful looking sitting amidst the fields. I especially like the contrast they provide to the green trees that are surrounded by.
