This series of small barn and farm landscape oil paintings are meant to capture some of the beautiful scenery found in Northern Indiana.

I took the photo that inspired this painting as we were driving, so I particularly like how the foreground of this piece is blurred as if you were moving in the car.

It also helps to draw your eye back to the sun drenched white barn and golden field behind it. (I wonder what they were growing back there? I like the magical glow it gives to this piece.)
