I photographed these bales of hay while in northern Wisconsin during the summer of 2004. We went with my family to spend a week at a wonderfully inspiring place called "Camp Forest Springs" which is located in Westboro, WI. I had spent a summer working as a housekeeper there during college. It was so nice to return as a guest 15 years later, not having to change any sheets or clean any bathrooms that week!
